IRS guidelines limit the tax deductibility of your gift if you receive or expect to recieve financial or economic benefit as a result of your contribution. Tax deductibility is further limited if you make a payment to, or for the beneifit of a University, and as a result, receive the right to buy tickets to an athletic event in an athletic stadium of that University to 80% of the payment made as a charitable contribution. Please refer to current IRS guidelines, Publication 526: Charitable Deductions for further information. Please consult your tax advisor with questions regarding tax liability.
